Frequently asked questions

When should I buy a vegan advent calendar?

October or early November, before they sell out.

Is dairy free the same as vegan?

No. Dairy-free products may still contain egg or honey.

How can I make sure a food gift is safe?

Always read the label: recipes change, and 'may contain' warnings matter for allergies and coeliac disease.

What is a good example of vegan advent calendars?

"Dairy-free chocolate" is one of 12 examples on this page. Pick the one closest to the tone you want, then add a specific detail of your own - a shared memory, a date, a name - so it reads as yours rather than copied.
