What to write inside your card

Finding the right words can be tricky when writing inside a team thank you card or employee recognition cards. Here are a few original, friendly examples to inspire your message inside our cards for colleagues:

For a promotion, try: Congratulations on your incredible new role. Your dedication has truly paid off, and we are so proud to see you take this next step.

For an anniversary using one of our work anniversary cards, write: Thank you for another fantastic year of dedication. Your expertise and positivity make our team what it is today.

For a colleague moving on, especially with a humorous card like This Is How You Repay Me? (New Job Card) or Whose Gonna Make The Brews Now? Leaving Card, you can write: We are gutted to see you go, but wish you the very best. Thank you for being such a brilliant colleague.

For someone starting a new chapter, the simple message inside a You Got This (New Job Card) works perfectly: Congratulations on your new role. They are lucky to have you.

How to choose the perfect card

Selecting the right design depends heavily on your unique workplace culture. If your office thrives on friendly banter, our new job cards feature plenty of witty options. You can opt for the playful New Job, Who Dis? (Funny New Job Card) or say a humorous goodbye with the See You Later, Alligator (Funny Good Luck Card) or the classic So Long, Farewell Good Luck Card. These funny designs break the ice and bring a smile during a transition. For a Sci-Fi enthusiast, the Yoda Best Multi-Occasion Greeting Card is an absolute winner that works beautifully. On the other hand, if you are selecting company cards for employees to hand out at a review, or need a business card for employees to receive alongside an official award, a classic design is often the best fit.

Pairing your card with a special gift

A thoughtful card is even better when paired with a small token of appreciation. If you want to make their desk feel a bit more personal, consider pairing your selection with something from our collection of funny workplace gifts. Our popular pin badges make wonderful, wearable keepsakes that employees can attach to their lanyards, bags, or jackets as a badge of honour. It adds a delightful extra layer to your employee appreciation efforts.
