Quiz Questions and Answers: Every Round in One Place
Share
Everything you need for a quiz night, sorted by round. Each guide below has thirty questions with answers, graded from easy to hard, written to be read straight out.
A good night is six rounds of ten with a break in the middle: start with general knowledge, alternate the specialist rounds, and finish with something light like celebrities or a picture round.
How to use these: read each question twice, ask for answer sheets at the end of the round, mark another team's paper, and never let the quizmaster play.

Frequently asked questions
How many questions do you need for a quiz night?
Sixty is the standard: six rounds of ten. Write seventy so you have a spare round if the night runs short or a round falls flat.
What rounds should a pub quiz have?
General knowledge, music, TV and film, sport, geography or history, and one picture or novelty round. That spread means every team has at least one round they're good at.
How long should a quiz night last?
About ninety minutes of quiz, plus a break. Beyond two hours people stop marking properly and start leaving.
What makes a good quiz prize?
Something small and funny beats something expensive. A card, a badge, a bag of sweets or a bottle - the point is the announcement, not the prize.
