Moomin gifts: Best Presents for Moomin fans

October 7, 2026

Quick answer: the best gifts for Moomin fans are ones that show you know what they love: an official moomin mug by arabia, the moomin novels boxset by tove jansson or an experience they'll talk about for years.

Fans of Moomin care about Moominvalley, Little My and Tove Jansson's gentle wisdom. A generic present misses the point, but something that nods to a favourite moment, song or quote will land every time.

For Christmas, buy early: official merch and popular sets sell out in December. For a birthday, pair a small gift with a card that quotes their favourite line.
