St Patrick's Day Cards

Celebrate the seventeenth of March in style with our original collection of St Patrick's Day cards. Whether you are heading to the pub for a pint of the black stuff or raising a glass from afar, our pint-shaped humour and funny Irish designs are the perfect way to share the craic. Each of our A6 cards is drawn in house, printed in the UK, and supplied with a high quality kraft envelope. Because they are blank inside, these versatile greetings also work brilliantly as a party invite for your festive gatherings.

From milestone celebrations falling on the same weekend to simple tokens of appreciation, we have options that combine the spirit of Ireland with playful jokes. If you want to say a big thank you or mark a special birthday, our themed greeting cards bring a smile to anyone who loves Irish culture or appreciates a classic dark stout.

Who our Irish greeting card range suits

Our Irish designs are tailored for anyone who enjoys a bit of playful banter and a celebratory drink. For those celebrating a birthday around the seventeenth of March, the Lá Breithe Shona Duit Irish Guinness Happy Birthday Card provides a wonderful traditional touch. It is an ideal choice for family members who appreciate their heritage. If you are celebrating a new addition to the clan, the Two's A Couple, Three's A Family (Guinness Congrats On The New Baby Card) is a sweet yet humorous way to send your congratulations to new parents.

For academic achievements, the Cheers! Congrats On The Graduation (Guinness Graduation Card) is a wonderful option to raise a glass to their hard work. You can find more targeted designs in our Irish birthday cards collection, making it easy to find something personal for your loved ones. We also have special options for fathers, such as the Happy Birthday, Dad! (Guinness Happy Birthday Card), which perfectly blends family affection with classic brewery humour.

What to write inside your card

Finding the right words to write inside a blank card can sometimes be a challenge. Depending on who you are sending your card to, you might want to choose a humorous toast, a warm message, or a traditional Irish blessing. Here are a few original ideas to inspire your writing:

"May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light, and may good luck pursue you each day and night."

"Wishing you a wonderful celebration filled with laughter, great company, and perhaps a pint or two."

"I thought you might appreciate a good laugh and a pint more than a traditional slice of cake today."

"Tanks a million for always being such a fantastic friend and always knowing where the best pub is."

How to choose the perfect card

Choosing the right design depends on the occasion and the personality of your recipient. If you want to show gratitude with a touch of humour, the Tanks A Million (Guinness Themed Thank You Card) or the Tanks A Million (Irish Accent Thank You Card For Colleague Or Friend) are brilliant options. These work exceptionally well as Irish thank-you cards for colleagues who have helped you out at work.

For someone who loves a joke about cake, the Guinness Happy Birthday Card (I Thought You Might Appreciate This More Than Cake) offers a relatable and funny spin on traditional birthday greetings. If you are sending a thank you note, the Thank You! (This Calls For a Guinness Thank You Card) is a bold, fun way to express appreciation. We even have designs for animal lovers, like the Mmmm Guinness Happy Birthday Card (Even Dogs Love Guinness). Explore our full guinness cards range to find the perfect fit.

Pairing your card with a unique gift

To make your greeting extra special, consider pairing your card with a small token. Our store offers a fantastic selection of presents that complement our card ranges. You can explore our funny coasters or general drinks coasters, which make practical and amusing gifts for anyone who loves hosting or enjoying a beverage at home.

If you are shopping for a parent, take a look at our gifts for dad collection or our wider gifts for him category. For those who truly love the aesthetic of the black stuff, we also recommend checking out our Guinness prints and our selection of pin badges to create a complete themed gift package.
