This poster keeps the same uplifting theme of steady self-improvement but presents it with a bolder, more playful visual style. The design centres around a powerful daily affirmation: “Today, I will strive to be 1% better than yesterday.” Short, simple and positive, the message encourages a mindset of continuous growth, reminding us that meaningful progress comes from small actions repeated day after day.
Set against a crisp white background, the poster uses striking purple typography that immediately draws the eye. The handwritten-style lettering adds personality and warmth, creating a relaxed and approachable feel. Rather than appearing formal or preachy, the quote feels like a personal promise or daily intention, making it easy to connect with and apply to everyday life.
Surrounding the text is a distinctive oval border made up of bold purple shapes arranged in a repeating pattern. This decorative frame adds colour and visual interest while naturally guiding attention towards the motivational message at its centre. The contrast between the vibrant purple design and the clean white space gives the artwork a modern and energetic appearance without feeling overwhelming.
The poster's message is rooted in the idea that success and personal growth are built through consistency rather than perfection. It encourages the viewer to focus on becoming slightly better each day rather than comparing themselves to others or feeling pressured to achieve dramatic results overnight. Whether the goal is developing healthier habits, improving at work, studying for exams or simply becoming a better version of oneself, the quote provides gentle encouragement to keep moving forward.
Its fresh colour palette and contemporary design make it suitable for a variety of settings, including home offices, bedrooms, study spaces, creative studios and workplaces. It works particularly well in environments where motivation, focus and personal development are valued, serving as a positive daily reminder to embrace progress, however small.
As a gift, this poster is ideal for students, professionals, entrepreneurs, fitness enthusiasts or anyone starting a new chapter in life. Its message is universal, relatable and easy to apply, making it both meaningful and inspiring. More than just a decorative print, it acts as a daily prompt to approach each day with purpose and determination, celebrating the small improvements that, over time, create remarkable change.
