Promotion Cards
A promotion usually gets a quick round of applause in a team meeting and very little else. A physical card is what marks this career milestone properly, especially for the hard worker who has already been doing the job unofficially for the last year. Whether they are climbing the corporate ladder, stepping into leadership, or securing a role in the public sector, sending a congratulations on your promotion card shows you notice their dedication. At Feel Good Times, we offer high-quality designs, from witty jokes to heartfelt expressions of admiration to celebrate their success.
Who our promotion card range suits
Our versatile range of work promotion cards suits every professional triumph. If you are celebrating a colleague who finally got the leadership title they deserve, our cards are the ideal tribute. This collection is well-suited for celebrating new managers stepping up, making them perfect cards for managers at work. We also have specific designs tailored to public service milestones, such as the Congrats, Sarge! Promotion to Police Sergeant Card, which is perfect for officers stepping up in rank. Our cards also suit ambitious friends completing a fitness milestone celebrated with our Personalised Well Done On The Hyrox Card (Well Done Card), which you can find in our wider well-done cards selection.
What to write in your promotion congratulations note
When writing a promotion congratulations note, it can be tricky to find the right balance of professionalism and warmth. Whether the tone is playful or polished, here are a few unique ideas to write inside your blank card to celebrate their congratulations for promotion:
Congratulations on the fancy new job title, though we both know you have been doing the actual work for a year already.
To the newly crowned manager, please remember us when you get your own office corner.
If they have reached the top of their department, you could also send the World's Best Boss Greetings Card with a message like: I always knew you would end up in charge, congratulations on the big move.
How to choose the perfect congratulations promotion card
Choosing the perfect congratulations promotion card comes down to the relationship you share with the recipient. If you work side-by-side and share a sense of office humour, look at our funny new job cards for colleagues. Bold and cheeky designs like the You Fucking Legend (Well Done Card) or the Yoda Best Multi-Occasion Greeting Card add a lighthearted touch. If the promotion means they are leaving your immediate team, choosing a promoted card that balances congratulations with a touch of fond farewell is ideal. For a more classic celebration, the Cheers M'dears Congratulations Card or the vibrant You Smashed It Well Done Card are universally appreciated. Our A6 cards are blank inside, giving you ample room to write your personal message.
Posting your congratulations on promotion card

If the promotion involves a complete move to a different company, pairing your message with our new job cards is a wonderful touch. You can also explore our new job gifts, which include delightful options like desk accessories or relaxing candles. If they are celebrating several life milestones at once, we also carry specific items like the OMG You're Engaged! Celebratory Engagement Card or the You're Awesome Retro Well Done Card. Elevating your congratulations with a small token of recognition will make their achievement feel even more official.
