If a colleague is moving into healthcare, our cards for nurses features the "Congrats On Becoming A Nurse New Job Card" and "Congrats On Becoming a Student Nurse Card". For those entering the police force, we have the "Congrats, Sarge! Promotion to Police Sergeant Card" which fits with our cards for police.

What to write in a new job card funny style

When thinking about what to write in a new job card funny messages are usually the best way to keep things upbeat. If you are stuck for ideas, we have compiled a few humorous suggestions that you can scribble inside.

You could say: Congratulations on your new job, I hope your new coworkers are slightly less annoying than we were. Alternatively, write: Best of luck in the new role, remember to pretend you know what you are doing. If you want to mock their betrayal, write: I cannot believe you are leaving me here alone to do actual work. These funny new job messages add a personal touch to our new job cards.

How to choose the perfect card for your coworker

Choosing the ideal greeting card depends on your relationship. If your office dynamic was built on shared after-work drinks, our range includes brilliant options for beer lovers, such as "Thank You! (This Calls For a Guinness Thank You Card)" or "Tanks A Million (Guinness Themed Thank You Card)", which you can browse in our guinness cards section. We also have the "Cheers! Congrats On The Graduation (Guinness Graduation Card)" if they are leaving to focus on studies.

If they are leaving the company, you might want to combine your congratulations on your new job funny card with items from our funny leaving cards for colleagues or good luck cards to say a funny good luck in your new job. Expressing gratitude is easy with cards like "Thank For Everything You Fabulous Human Being (Thank You Card For Colleague Or Friend)" or "Thank You Sooo Fucking Much (Thank You Card For Colleague Or Friend)", both of which you can find under our thank you cards for colleagues. Picking a design that matches their personality makes a funny new job congratulations feel incredibly thoughtful.
