What to write in a christening card

A christening card gets kept. It goes in the memory box with the gown and the order of service, and there's a decent chance the child reads it in twenty years' time. That's the bar, and it's why 'congratulations' on its own feels thin.

Write to the child, not the parents. Even for a baby who can't read it yet, that's what makes it worth keeping.

Longer keepsake messages
